Reception Activity Idea

We were searching for ideas on what to include in our reception program when we came across a game called "DJ vs. Photography." Midway through our reception, our DJ played us a song, and my husband and I had the duration of that song to take a picture with the people sitting at each table. Our guests were super hyped and cheering us on as we were running around the ballroom taking our pictures, and each table got ready in their picture-pose beforehand so that as soon as we would arrive, they would be ready to take a picture with us and then we could move onto the next table before the song ended!

This not only made our reception super unique, but was also loved by all our guests! Additionally, it added a little bit of excitement to break up the other parts of the reception program which tend to be more mellow (like the family speeches, first dance, and cake-cutting).

The game was really fun, and this way we got a picture with everyone at our reception in less than four minutes! It saved a lot of time and it helped make sure that in the end we had at least one photo with every guest :)
